A Dandy Group of Assorted Perfume Bottles. Europe & U.S.A., c. 19th - early 20th century. Includes colorful cut glass, painted and enameled glass, swirling Venetian concoctions, a choice red jar with spring-loaded lid, molded bottles, and examples in bloodstone, nut shell, and ivory. A bottle shaped as a lute, in silver(?). Material well preserved, but inspection suggested. The glass may have nicks or other imperfections; the lids may sometimes show dents or be absent, or applicators may be missing. Lengths: 1-3/4" - 4-3/4". Lot of 21 items.

A Fine Collection of Assorted Perfume Bottles. Europe & U.S.A., c. 19th - early 20th century. Includes colorful cut glass, painted and enameled glass and ceramic, Venetian swirled glass, bottles in silver and metal, and examples in bloodstone, agate, and cane glass. Seen are: two small American bottles of "Sweet Briar" and "Geranium" from H.P. & C.R. Taylor, still with the "chromo" labels; a neat Birmingham flask around 1913. Material generally well preserved, but inspection suggested. The glass may have nicks or other imperfections; the lids may sometimes show dents or be absent, or applicators may be missing. Lengths: 1-1/4" - 3-3/4". Lot of 29 items.

A Fun Group of Bottles, Shaped as Living Things. Europe & Elsewhere, c. 19th - early 20th century. Intriguing is the ivory carvings squash or cucumbers - - more likely Japan than China. Shell types are popular; and acorns too. Unique is the bottle shaped and colored like a wild bird's egg. Material well preserved, but inspection suggested. The glass may have nicks or other imperfections; the lids may sometimes show dents, or applicators may be missing. Lengths: 1-1/2" - 3-1/2". Lot of 12 items.

A Group of Larger Perfume Bottles and Flasks. Europe & U.S.A., c. 19th - mid-20th century. Besides the types already seen, this lot with elaborate footed jars, often with large and intricate applicators. Similar: a smaller example in pressed glass, and a globular jar in cut glass. Other items: an elegant bottle with gold-filled fittings; cut white opaque glass with painted gold decoration; and more. Inspection suggested. The glass may have nicks, chips, imperfections, or losses; the lids may sometimes show dents, or applicators may be missing. There are a few lids here without bottles to match them. Lengths: 1-3/4" - 9". Lot of 21 items.

All items in cut glass, and well crafted, some with sterling caps - - the largest with Paris marks for 1838. One bottle with cobalt overlay to the clear crystal. One bottle in unusual black glass with silver foil flecks. Material well preserved, but inspection suggested. The glass may have nicks or other imperfections; the lids may sometimes show dents, or applicators may be missing. Lengths: 3-1/4" - 5-3/4". Lot of 7 items.

A Stylish Lot of Horn-shaped Scent Bottles in Glass and Silver. Europe, c. 19th - early 20th century. Again, all quality luxury items. The cut glass pieces well crafted, some with sterling caps. Noted: a violet bottle with enameled designs; large silver bottle with Birmingham marks (1915-1916); a Scottish bottle shaped like a knife sheath, with acorn "hilt," but lacking the cap/stopper. Material well preserved, but inspection suggested. The glass may have nicks or other imperfections; the lids may sometimes show dents, or applicators may be missing. Lengths: 3" - 6-1/2". Intriguing is the large glass piece, still holding within the original rose petals that once effused the bottle's liquid! Their aroma is wonderfully rich, with a hint of cinnamon! Lot of 7 items.

An Impressive Group of Rare Double-sided Scent Bottles in Fine Colors. Europe, c. 19th - early 20th century. All quality luxury items, well crafted, many with sterling or gilt caps (two with spring pressure inner seals!). Most bottles facetted or with intricate wheel cutting. A violet bottle with sterling marks, time of Victoria, 1861. A fun piece shaped as a cannon! Material well preserved, but inspection suggested. The glass may have nicks or other imperfections; the lids may sometimes show dents, or applicators may be missing. One bottle, in cobalt, with mouth missing. Lengths: 2-1/2" - 6". Lot of 13 items.

Some Special Perfume Bottles. Europe & Elsewhere, c. 19th - early 20th century. Finest is the Renaissance-style enameled flask with a lute-playing muse flanked by two dancing putti. Next, a disc-like silver bottle incorporating a pair of florins of Queen Victoria. Also a Wedgewood cameo bottle, and a ceramic bottle designed as a cluster of fruit. Last, an atomizer, gilt and nielloed. Material well preserved, but inspection suggested. The glass may have nicks or other imperfections; the lids may sometimes show dents, or applicators may be missing. Lengths: 1-3/4" - 3-1/2". Lot of 7 items.

A Group of Decorative Bottles. Continental, c. 1900. A pretty group of ladies accessories. Including: an art glass vase, with fired "splash" glaze in red and violet, some areas lightly iridescent. A silver-topped perfume bottle in cut glass with outer layer in cobalt. Plus three charming and enameled miniature vases: with a maiden girl, a gentleman dandy; and a pretty lady - - these signed: Leo, Gamet, and Carue. Largest item: 5-1/2". Most finely preserved. A Super Group of Delicately Fashioned Scent Bottles. Italy, likely Venice, 19th century. The artistry of the glass blower has fashioned these colorful trifles into swords and pistols, with vivid swirled patterning to the handles. Similar are the two other narrow bottles with long applicator rods. Material very well preserved, but inspection suggested. The glass may have nicks or other imperfections; the lids may sometimes show dents, or applicators may be missing. Lengths: 3-1/2" - 6". A choice group! Lot of 9 items.

Handsome Vintage to Antique Cut Glass bottles for the Boudoir. U.S.A. and England, c. late 19th - early 20th century. A regal assemblage, in clear faceted or cut glass only, with sterling caps. One American jar, the cap with lovely Art Nouveau face among flowers. British marks run c. 1890-1910. Also three small bottles clad in silver, Mexico, c. 1940's-1950's. Material generally well preserved, but inspection suggested. The glass may have nicks or other imperfections; the lids may sometimes show dents or be absent, or applicators may be missing. Lengths: 2-1/8" - 6-1/8". Along with these, 2 necklaces and pair of earrings in Mexican silver, around the 1960's, in very basic but elegant designs. Lot of 13 items.

Lalique. Crystal Figurine. France, c. 1960's-70's. In frosted clear glass. So as a young swan arcs its neck and opens its wings, creating sweeping and graceful lines, so too the young beauty arches back into a harmony of curves and reaching angles. Signed on base, "Lalique France." Original Lalique sticker remains. Height: 5-3/4".

Colorful and Rare "Venetian" Scent Bottles. Italy, 19th - early 20th century. The bottles robustly made in thick glass, with appealing trailed, cane, or marvered enhancements in brilliant colors. Three bottles colored in cobalt, red, or violet, with white decoration, with rest in clear glass with mostly colored ornament. One bottle silver-capped, another cut and faceted. All nicely preserved, with little or no chips. Largest: 5". Lot of 9 items.

A Pair of Antique Tiffany Scent Flasks. U.S.A., c. 19th - early 20th century. One in sterling, and other in wheel cut crystal. The sterling in an exotic-looking form, perhaps influenced by Japanese examples, initialed "A.M.", and clearly marked on the mouth. The glass cutting of the other item finely executed; the sterling cap initialed and inscribed: "Xmas, 1884." Lengths: 5-1/2"; 7-1/4". Silver: part of chain missing, but still retains original cork seal. Glass choice, with only some light scattered nicks here and there. Lot of 2 items.

A Cute Little Grandfather-style Desktop Clock. Circa early 20th century. No visible indication of maker. Case constructed from oak solids, with brass or brass plated trim and accents. The key (missing) wound mechanism fairly compact. The clock face looks as if it might be celluloid. Overall very fine for its age. Height: 17-5/8".

A Pair of "Atmosphere" Clocks, by Le Coultre & Cie. Switzerland, c. 1970's 1980's. One, with tarnish resistant glass and gold-toned frame, with adjustable legs for leveling, and open skeleton clockworks. The second similar, but "Marina" model, with Chinese fisherman ornament in plastic side panels. This one with original case. Clock heights around 9". Lot of 2 items.
